Seals are the basis of EVERY assassin's arsinal. They allow him (or her) to gain special powers to destroy his (or her) opponents.
Seals are actually pretty simple once you get the hang of them. There are four mediums and three designs. They are the following:
THE FOUR MEDIUMS:
AIR:
The air medium is the weakest of the four mediums. However, as air is everywhere on this world, air seals can be very quick and useful. Also, air is very easy to run Zaki Knives through, unlike blood, water, and earth. All three designs of seals can be written in air.
EARTH:
The earth medium is the second weakest. Mostly used with circle seals for traps on oncoming opponents, the earth seals are great because they are nearly undetectable and can remain in the ground for a while. As it is solid, you can only draw two of the three designs: circle and line.
WATER:
The water medium is pretty tricky. As water is somewhat harder to find, it is the second most powerful medium. Many healing seals can only be written in water, as it is the element of life. All seals can be written in it, but it is harder to swing a Zaki Knife through.
BLOOD:
The blood medium is the most powerful of the four. There are a couple ways to do it. First, you can cut yourself with a Zaki Knife, or, you can dip it in blood and draw a seal. The first one is the most commonly used. A circle and a line seal are the only seals that can be drawn in it. Also, whoever's blood the seal is drawn with is the person who activates it.
THE THREE DESIGNS:
ORB SEAL:
In the shape of a sphere, these seals are the most powerful. Mostly used with the air medium, they give you quick, instant, formidible power. Once you draw them, you must activate them quickly or else they will fade and you will have to draw them again.
CIRCLE SEAL:
In the shape of a...you guessed it! A circle, this seal is the second most powerful seal. Usually drawn in the ground, these are mainly used for traps that people step on.
LINE SEAL:
Mainly used in blood, these are the most powerful seals. (Example of a line seal to right in sidebar) They are the most dangerous and the fastest to draw. They require a lot of knowledge, though, so beware before you try them.
